Carolyn’s philosophy is that a thriving workplace environment is only achievable if the workforce is well. After working for years in the health and fitness industry, she understands that just as physical fitness is necessary for lifelong functional capability, holistic wellness is crucial for a fulfilling life.

Carolyn has marked her thriving career in the health and fitness industry with unique contributions that have resulted in her playing a pivotal role in shaping it. From the specialized programming she develops for numerous facilities, to the education she provides for aspiring students to the focused attention she has directed to the aging population's needs. Carolyn has partnered with companies and organizations to advocate for those who long to establish their voices in addressing workplace issues that matter to them. This advocacy is for both the client and the staff that cares for them.

When nursing facilities became the new home to Carolyn’s own loved ones, it became significantly more apparent that prioritizing the physical and mental health needs of residents without considering that of the staff who serve them did not make sense.  Extensive professional experience as a Fitness Director within a Life-Plan Community allowed Carolyn to merge two of her passions: working with older adults and working in fitness. During her tenure there, she became increasingly aware of the needs of both the residents of the communities and the staff that served them. Her conclusion was, “If the staff is not well, neither is the organization!” To Carolyn, workplace wellness focuses on the well-being of those called to care for the loved ones of others.
